Keanu Reeves has stated that he has cryptocurrency, which was purchased for him by a buddy some time ago. “Yeah, I have a little hodl,” he said. The well-known actor also spoke about non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the metaverse.

Reeves also commented on the changing name of Facebook to Meta.

“The concept of metaverse is like way older than that.”

Reeves also answered the question about whether he owns cryptocurrency.

“A friend of mine bought some for me a while back. Yeah, I have a little hodl.”

The interview about the production process of “The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience,” Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss also discussed about how technology is blurring the lines between real and virtual.

When asked about his thoughts on “digital shortage” and “things which can’t be duplicated,” the actor added, “that are easily reproduced” and laughed.

In the context of tokens that are non-fungible (NFTs), Reeves was asked if he’d been to see the Matrix NFTs for the forthcoming Matrix Resurrections movie. He said he had not seen them and was wondering if he or Moss get any money for them.
